About Me

Working together.

Trauma can occur after exposure to natural disasters, family violence, childhood abuse, or the death of someone close. Sometimes past trauma reawakens when relationships are stressed. Healing these emotional wounds takes time, strength and guidance. If you have experienced trauma, you know how difficult it is for loved ones to understand what you are going through. What is a normal response? Is the way I feel abnormal, are my children and partner acting strange in the circumstances?

I have been working as a counsellor and music therapist for over fifteen years. I draw on current theory and research about the neurobiological effects of trauma to assist relationship recovery. My professional mission is to heal the effects of trauma on body, mind and relationships.

There is no one formula. There is no magic potion. There is however my commitment to provide creative solutions. Working together, we can spark the power of curiosity and hopefully create the relationships you desire.
